CrystalSpace is an Estonian aerospace company specializing in high-performance camera systems for autonomous space and earth applications. Founded in 2013, we have over a decade of experience and a track record of over 200 delivered flight units in space. Our systems are operating in Earth orbit, onboard NASA’s Artemis SAMPLR lander via Maxar, and integrated into several other Moon landers and rovers.

We are now using our space expertise to develop and build the next generation of smart cameras for defence applications. Using Glancecore AI (our proprietary Edge AI hardware), we are able to see and remain operational in bad weather, allowing autonomous systems to carry out their mission even in heavily contested EW environments, including GNSS-denied areas of operation. Thanks to our products unique construction—combining edge computing hardware and optical sensors into one unit—our smart cameras allow terminal decision making in milliseconds without operator input. This is especially important for bringing next-generation capabilities to drone interceptors so they can hit ever-faster moving targets and evade enemy interception.
