Accreditation & Badges

Welcome to Estonian Defence Week 2026 (EDW26, 21-25 September, Tallinn Creative Hub). Everyone who enters the event area - delegates, visitors, exhibitors, speakers, media, organisers and contractors - carries a personal badge and an EDW26 wristband issued at our Accreditation Centre. This page tells you how to get yours and what to expect on arrival.

A word about security. EDW26 brings a large part of the defence industry together at one venue, and the security arrangements are correspondingly thorough. The first check takes place already outdoors, at the outer gate, before you reach the Accreditation Centre. Please have two things ready to show there: a valid photo ID (passport or national ID card) and your accreditation e-mail with the QR code. The queue is in the open air, so dress for the weather and allow some extra time. Given the current security environment in the defence sector, we thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping the event safe for everyone.

Before you arrive

  1. Register for your event on its event page before the deadline. All registrations are checked by the organisers and several events are by invitation only, so there is no registration at the venue.
  2. Watch your inbox. Once your registration is confirmed, you receive your personal on-site accreditation e-mail about two weeks before the event, with a QR code and a list of the EDW26 events and roles you are registered for. Keep it on your phone or print it. Not received it? Check your spam folder, then write to helpdesk@confenta.com.
  3. Pack the right ID. You will need a valid passport or national ID card - company ID cards, photocopies, driving licences and photos of documents on a phone cannot be accepted. Keep the ID with you all week for spot checks.

On arrival

  1. Outer gate. Show your ID and your accreditation e-mail with the QR code. They admit you to the Accreditation Centre. This check is outdoors.
  2. Accreditation Centre - Level 0, Tallinn Creative Hub (Kultuurikatel), Kursi tn 3. Your ID is checked, your QR code is scanned once, and you receive your badge and your wristband. The QR code then expires. Everyone collects their own badge; a colleague cannot collect it for you.
  3. Event area. With your badge and wristband you enter through the Accreditation Entrance, the Main Entrance or the Outdoor Expo entrance. Map: Venue page.

HACK participants are accredited only at the Energy Discovery Centre on 24-25 September. The HACK organiser sends its own instructions; HACK is not part of the EDW26 accreditation e-mail, even if you are registered for other EDW26 events.

Your wristband

Every badge is issued together with one EDW26 wristband. It shows that you have been through the EDW26 identity check in person; your badge remains your access credential and is scanned at every controlled entrance.

You receive the wristband at your first accreditation, and it is valid for all the EDW26 events you are registered for, for the whole week.

Please wear it on your wrist until your last EDW26 event. It is waterproof and comfortable, but single-use: once removed, it cannot be re-attached.

A badge is valid only together with the wristband; security staff check both and may ask for your ID.

Lost or damaged wristband? Come to the Accreditation Centre with your ID and you will be re-accredited.

Registration for one EDW26 event does not in itself give entry to another, apart from the TDE access included in DID, SYM, ABCD and NOICE registrations as shown above. If you take part in several events, please register for each of them.

Registered for several events?

  • You receive one accreditation e-mail listing all your DID, SYM and TDE registrations and access rights, and one badge for every event - all handed over together in one visit to the Accreditation Centre. Also invited to ABCD or NOICE? Those badges are issued at the same Accreditation Centre with the same QR code.
  • TDE Exhibitors are the exception: they still need to register for DID and SYM, but once confirmed, that access is embedded in the QR code of the TDE Exhibitor badge and marked on it - no separate DID or SYM badge. TDE Exhibitors attending ABCD or NOICE receive those badges in addition.
  • Wear the badge of the event you are attending. TDE Exhibitors wear the TDE Exhibitor badge at all times and add the ABCD or NOICE badge at those events. The wristband stays the same all week.

Good to know

  • Badge and wristband are worn at all times inside the venue and in the fenced outdoor expo area. Both are personal and cannot be lent, swapped or given to anyone else.
  • Some areas are closed to certain badge types: conference halls, breakout rooms, official side events and the Catering Tent. Most side events also require separate registration or an invitation. The TDE Expo Visitor badge gives access to the TDE expo areas only.
  • Lost your badge? Tell the Accreditation Centre straight away and bring your ID: the old badge is cancelled at once and no longer opens any door, and a replacement is issued. Found a badge? Please hand it in at the Accreditation Centre or to any security officer - using someone else's badge leads to removal from the venue.
  • Security decisions are final. The organisers may withdraw a badge and ask a person to leave the venue if security requires it.
  • Photography and data. Photography and filming take place throughout the week. Registration data is used for the security checks that are a condition of entry and may be shared with Estonian authorities where the law requires. CCTV is in operation. See the General Terms.

TDE Exhibitors and contractors

TDE Exhibitor registration closed on 28 August; to replace or correct a team member, e-mail helpdesk@confenta.com as early as possible (late registrations cannot be guaranteed security clearance). TDE Work Passes for stand builders, contractors, couriers and drivers must be registered by 15 September via the Exhibitor Staff Registration form. Full details are in the Exhibitor Guidelines 2.0.

Frequently asked questions

Can I register at the venue?

No. All registrations are checked in advance. Register on the event page before its deadline.

I have not received my QR code. What do I do?

Check your spam folder first, then write to accreditation@kingent.ee with your name and the event you registered for.

I am registered for several EDW26 events. Do I get several e-mails?

No - one e-mail listing all your DID, SYM and TDE registrations, and one visit to the Accreditation Centre for all your badges, including ABCD and NOICE. HACK is the exception: the HACK organiser writes to you separately.

I am a SYM delegate. Can I visit TDE?

Yes - TDE access on 22-24 September is included in your SYM registration and stored in your badge.

I am a TDE Exhibitor. Can I attend DID or SYM?

Only if you have registered for them and been confirmed. The access is then in the QR code of your TDE Exhibitor badge; you do not need a second badge.

I am registered for DID only. Can I visit TDE?

Yes - TDE access on 22-24 September is included in your DID registration and stored in your badge.

I am attending ABCD or NOICE. Where do I get my badge?

I am a HACK participant. Where do I get my badge?

Only at the Energy Discovery Centre on 24-25 September, as instructed by the HACK organiser - not at the Accreditation Centre.

It shows that you have been through the EDW26 identity check in person. You receive it once, at your first accreditation, and it is valid for all your registered EDW26 events for the whole week.

Can a colleague collect my badge?

No. Everyone collects their own badge and shows their own ID.

Which ID documents are accepted?

Passport or national ID card only.

My name or organisation is wrong. What do I do?

Contact the organiser of your event as early as possible, no later than 15 September. TDE Exhibitors: helpdesk@confenta.com.
