Cohesys is a Canadian clinical-stage medical device company that as developed BoneTape, the world's first duct tape for bones. BoneTape is a surgical implant designed to replace titanium plates and screws in bone fracture fixation, and will be initially indicated for craniomaxillofacial (CMF, or midface) fractures. BoneTape is intended to be faster and easier to use than plates and screws. Also, BoneTape fully resorbs in the body in 1 year, unlike titanium hardware which is typically left permanently and can cause long-term complications.

Cohesys is submitting its US FDA 510(k) package by end of 2026, which will see us on the US market in early 2027.

We have existing collaborations and funding with the US Navy and US Army. We are also a NATO DIANA Mission Track company.
